myCare2x does not use MS Office licenses when writing doctor's letters

One of the many advantages of myCare2x is that it enables noticeable savings on Microsoft licenses. Hospitals typically use Windows clients for the HIS solutions. A Microsoft Windows license is therefore required at every PC workstation.

In addition, the HIS providers that are widespread on the market use MS Word to write doctor's letters, which means that the clinical workstations require an MS Office license. While administration continues to require single-user licenses – now subscription fees – from MS, these can be omitted for around 85 percent of jobs in medicine and care.

Instead of Office products, the treatment documentation can be managed with clinical workstation systems, where the documentation, including the doctor's letters, takes place in HTML5 format.
